This placement is for those who want to get more involved with the scientific side of the Marine Park near Esparza. They breed and sell fish eggs both for research purposes and for profit to fund research and education, and you will be involved at almost every level of this project. Their work has drawn people from around the world. Your tasks will vary depending on the needs at the time, but the main aim is to mitigate the negative impact of pollution in the marine world.

You will also work behind the scenes in the aquarium, cleaning and feeding animals, including docile sharks & sea turtles. You will get closer to rare marine animals than most people ever do. Not many people can say that they have cleaned a shark!
Soak in Huidong’s scenic beach views in your spare time while on this special program caring for China’s cute and endangered turtles!
This Turtle Conservation program is based in Huidong city, Guangdong province, China where you will be helping protect its local sea turtles. You’ll help maintain their environment, take part in their breeding efforts, raise hatchlings, and release turtles back into their natural habitat. Together with local staff, you’ll learn more about them and help these endangered creatures re-populate the wild.
Care for seabirds, mammals and reptiles in the animal sanctuary at the Marine Park before they are released into the wild.
During your time at the project, you will assist the local veterinarian in residence in caring for injured animals of various species. These animals will later be released into the wild. Your tasks will vary depending on your level of experience.

We are located very close to the Indian Ocean which is famous for the sea turtle nesting grounds. Unfortunately, many of the species are going extinct due to various factors. You will be a part of the community involved in conservation of marine life and habitat.
Support conserving the sea life in Vanuatu by taking part in our Marine Conservation program where you will be able to spend some quality time by the beach!
Throughout your time under this project, you will be supporting the supervisors to correctly place the materials and complete planting a coral reef to protect sealife. Your time at the project will not only benefit conserving the marine life but also give you one of the most memorable experiences in your life.
