Take the opportunity to work in local kindergartens around the Rusape township and teach children English in a personal way!

With many schools in the area, you have a chance to help young children to learn and grow creatively. This is a great way to learn more about Zimbabwean culture while giving back to the community at the same time. You will work together with the local staff to take care of the children, teach English and organize fun activities with them!

With English being such an important language for communication nowadays, it is beneficial to have a basic understanding even at a young age, plus it can be easier to learn a language while you are still young!

In this program you will be working in kindergartens around Rusape and assisting local teachers with class management. You can expect tasks such as arranging different activities following a curriculum such as basic English teaching, but you may also have the opportunity to assist with other subjects such as mathematics, music, games, writing, drawing, and physical education.

A great benefit of this program it that it gives a good opportunity to local kids to learn from and interact with a foreigner who is able to converse in basic English. You never know, the support you provide with basic English teaching may allow local children to broaden their future views and possibilities!

Please note this trip may require you to purchase a cultural experience week with it. Click Here to find the relevant cultural experience week based on the country where this trip operates in.
