Lend a hand and get working experience by helping out at a rural hospital in Kenya!

Our Medical Program is aimed at participants with a medical background. Based on your experience, you’ll be given a variety of tasks to help out in a local hospital in Kenya that serves those who did not previously get much access to healthcare and medical assistance.

Our Medical Program is aimed to add to your work experience, while helping the local villagers you will care for. You will play a role in helping them get access to good and accessible health care.

Kenya remains a developing country and its health sector remains a big concern. Communities, especially those in rural and less developed areas, are usually in need of affordable healthcare.

In many small communities, there are government-owned health care and hospitals but unfortunately, they are often understaffed and remain limited in facilities and equipment.

You will be working alongside local nurses, doctors and staff in either a small health care center or a district hospital (depending on the needs at the time). Depending on your level of experience, different tasks will be given to you.

Please note this trip may require you to purchase a cultural experience week with it. Click Here to find the relevant cultural experience week based on the country where this trip operates in.
