Come and assist an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh and take care of local Vietnamese children giving them the attention and assistance they need.

These self-funded orphanages are places which nourish the children and allow them to blossom. You can play a part in this in the following main ways:

Caretaking

At our primary orphanage, all the orphans are below the age of 5 years old and are in need of a lot of care and attention. You can expect to be feeding, bathing, dressing and playing games with the children. At the other orphanages, you will also find children from higher age groups up to 18 years of age who you will assist with homework as well as teach basic social and life skills.

Teaching English

The level of English possessed by these children is low, and one of our focuses is teaching them this important language, a very useful skill to have.

You should focus on the basics, such as simple vocabulary, basic conversation and simple writing. You will also be a part of teaching basic social skills and life skills to the children.

We will guide you through simple activities you will help organise. Here, you should focus on more basic aspects, such as simple vocabulary, basic conversation and simple writing. Classes are constructed into two separate learning levels (high and low).

Please note this trip may require you to purchase a cultural experience week with it. Click Here to find the relevant cultural experience week based on the country where this trip operates in.
