You will be led by an experienced guide through the Hill Country i.e. the central province of Sri Lanka, renowned for its flora and fauna. The week includes treks to Ambuluwawa Hills, Riverstone mountains and the First ever tea plantation in Sri Lanka named Loolkandura. You will also visit Sigiriya Rock and take a walk through a local village, and visit three loop temples. The activities for the week also include a trip to the Royal Botanical Garden.

Aims & Objectives

To wake up the spirit of adventure in you while getting an exposure to Sri Lankan culture and nature.


Visit to Sri Lanka’s first tea plantation and tea factory. Then go on a beautiful walk around the “Lulkadura Estate”.


Day hike to Ambuluwawa Peak.


Go on a temple walk and experience the ancient temples. This is called the “loop temple walk”.


Visit to Dambulla Cave Temple and proceed to Sigiriya. Enjoy a beautiful evening sunset at Sigiriya and stay overnight at Sigiriya.


Sigiriya rock, bicycle tour, pink rose stone mountain and travel back to your accommodation at Kandy.

This schedule can be changed and/or amended depending on weather conditions, local conditions and unforeseen circumstances.
