Babycare

This babycare center was started under the Child and Labor Department of Sri Lanka. All the children could not receive the needed care at home and are provided with better living conditions, shelter and food. The baby care center in Sri Lanka operate with minimal resources and a handful of staff. By placing participants here we help the baby care center carry out daily operations without interruptions. Participants are required to strictly follow the rules and adapt to the conditions of the center and not compare them to Western standards. Local centers have their own methods of working with children. The babycare care center looks after babies and provides them with food, clothing, childcare and medical care with the help of other private organizations and with the help of the participants. Participants will be required to care for around 15 – 20 babies all of whom are below 12 months old. Their duties involve helping the staff in cleaning beds, changing nappies, bed sheets, and pillows and keeping the area clean and sterile. You will also have to help prepare baby food and feed the babies.
