In many of Rwanda’s rural and underdeveloped areas, there are many families living with the very basics. Often, families lack the financial means to support their children with education, including secondary and higher education. Due to their educational background, many inhabitants of these areas never get the chance to pursue a career.

Most times, teenagers spend their spare time not doing much. For this reason, we are trying to support the young generation in Nezerwa by arranging activities to engage them in a non-formal way to learn using their free time. These activities are free for anyone in the village who may be interested.

And who creates the activities? You. It can be anything – teaching English, playing sports, computer lessons, etc. Moreover, you will also have the opportunity to arrange further activities in schools for students who are interested after their regular school hours.

Please note this trip may require you to purchase a cultural experience week with it. Click Here to find the relevant cultural experience week based on the country where this trip operates in.
