Entire communities have been adversely affected by the torrential rains and subsequent flooding and mudslides that have been caused by the El Niño phenomenon. Many people have been forced to leave their homes and move to shelters because they all of their belongings was lost due to the devastation that was caused. Getting in and out of these areas is more difficult because major roads to many of the hard-hit areas were left inaccessible due to significant portions being washed away.

As a part of the humanitarian response, you will be working with residents of Cajamarca City and others, by joining the #UnaSolaFuerza, in efforts to distribute essential items to those in need. You will be working from a safe location, providing hand-on assistance with logistics, receiving, labeling and making care packages with items including clothes, blankets, food, and medical supplies. By choosing this program you will be able to see the difference you are making in real-time.
