If you love teaching and being with children, experiencing Malawi as a community teacher is something you will really enjoy!

We have good relationships with the rural village leaders who would like us to organize community programs in the local village hall. You will be helping children who are not able to attend school for reasons such as distance, time or family responsibilities.

A lot of the children here are quite young and require attention and activities to keep them stimulated and assist their growth.

You will be helping to teach basic English, exchange songs, take part in singing, and playing educational games. You may also lead the children through activities like handicrafts, sports, drawing, coloring, writing and more!

Be prepared to work for 4-5 hours a day on this program, teaching, leading groups, creating lesson plans and content for the classes.

Please note this trip may require you to purchase a cultural experience week with it. Click Here to find the relevant cultural experience week based on the country where this trip operates in.
