Aims & Objectives

The aim is to let you discover the best locations of Bali and the surrounding islands through you will gain a better understanding about the Balinese culture and explore the nature of Bali through first hand experience.

Week 1

Day 1: Sunday

Ubud

  • Pick up from the airport and transfer to the participant accommodation
  • Free day for the participants to relax
  • Overnight stay at standard participant accommodation

Day 2: Monday

Ubud

  • Breakfast at the accommodation
  • Program meeting and cultural orientation
  • Relaxing or exploring the surroundings on your own or with fellow participants
  • Visit to Pura Goa Gajah temple
  • Lunch
  • Overnight stay at standard participant accommodation

Day 3: Tuesday

Ubud

  • Breakfast at the accommodation
  • Visit monkey forest street or main street of Ubud
  • Visit to Ubud palace
  • Lunch
  • Visit to Ubud traditional market
  • Visit to Pura Sarawati
  • Overnight stay at standard participant accommodation

Day 4: Wednesday

Ubud

  • Breakfast at the accommodation
  • White water rafting
  • Buffet lunch in Kedewatan village
  • Overnight stay at standard participant accommodation

Day 5: Thursday

Ubud

  • Breakfast at a restaurant in Kintamani mountain
  • Cycling tour to observe local Balinese life styles, villages and rice fields
  • Lunch at a house in one of the villages        
  • Overnight stay at standard participant accommodation

Day 6: Friday

Ubud

  • Breakfast
  • Trekking in Ubud to get more exposure about the Balinese culture, local temples, rice fields, farmer’s lifestyles, etc.
  • Lunch
  • Rest of the day will be free for you to explore the surroundings on your own
  • Overnight homestay at Ashram

Day 7: Saturday

Ubud/ Bedugal

  • Breakfast
  • Transfer to Bedugal village
  • Visit to coffee plantations and find about herbal products
  • Lunch at Saras restaurant
  • Rest of the day will be free for your own excursions

Week 2

Day 8: Sunday

Lovina

  • Breakfast at homestay
  • Check in to Lovina Beach hotel
  • Visit to the Botanical Garden in Candi Kuning and enjoy at the treetop adventure park
  • Visit to Candi Kuning traditional market
  • Visit to the temple in the lake Beratan
  • Lunch at a restaurant by the lake
  • Visit to Git Git waterfall and come back to Lovina beach via Singaraja - the old capital of Bali        
  • Overnight stay at Lovina Beach hotel

Day 9: Monday

Lovina

  • Breakfast and lunch at the hotel
  • Free day for the participants to relax at the hotel
  • Overnight stay at Lovina Beach Hotel

Day 10: Tuesday

Lovina

  • Begin the tour early morning to see dolphins using a traditional boat
  • Breakfast
  • Visit the hot water spring
  • Lunch at a local restaurant
  • Evening free for your own excursions
  • Overnight stay at Lovina Beach hotel

Day 11: Wednesday

Lovina/ Tulamben

  • Breakfast
  • Checkout from the hotel and transfer to the spectacular beach in Tulamben
  • Lunch at a local restaurant
  • Afternoon free for your own excursions
  • Overnight stay at Matahari Tulamben Resort

Day 12: Thursday

Tulamben

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Enjoy snorkeling for around 2 hours
  • Lunch
  • Relaxing at the beach
  • Overnight stay at Matahari Tulamben Resort

Day 13: Friday

Tulamben

  • Breakfast and Lunch at the hotel
  • Free day for the participants to relax at the hotel

Day 14: Saturday

Tulamben/ Lombok

  • Breakfast
  • Checkout from the hotel in the morning
  • Transfer from Tulamben to Padang Bay harbor and leave to Lombok by speed boat
  • Arriving at Lembar harbor in Lombok and transfer to Puri Bunga hotel in Sengigi, Lombok
  • Lunch
  • Rest of the day will be free at your own leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Puri Bunga hotel
Week 3

Day 15: Sunday

Sengigi/ Lombok

  • Breakfast
  • Starting the day by visiting Banyumulek (famous for traditional pottery), Sukarara village (renowneed for traditional handweaving of brightly patterned singket, ikat and sarong cloth), and Tanjung A’an at Kuta beach (one of the most scenic and unspoilt beaches in this part of the island)
  • Lunch
  • Overnight stay at Puri Bunga hotel

Day 16: Monday

Sengigi/ Sembalun

  • Breakfast
  • Visit to Lendang Bajur Morning market (a beautiful scenery of green hills and a valley where wild monkeys are expecting you to come with peanuts and bananas) and reach Pusuk Pass.
  • Visit to the Sendang Gile waterfall (125 meters tall)
  • Lunch served at Pondok Senaru hotel
  • Overnight stay at Lembah Rinjani hotel

Day 17: Tuesday

Sembalun

  • Breakfast
  • Depart at around 7.30 for Trek registration in Sembalun
  • Then departing to Sembalun village (1156m) to reach the second rest post (1800m, approx. time for the trek would be 3 hours)
  • Departing from the second rest post to the third rest post (1800m, approx. time for the trek would be 1 hour)
  • Lunch
  • Departing to the Sembalun crater (approx. time for the trek would be 3 hours)
  • Dinner
  • Overnight stay at the Sembalun crater rim camp

Day 18: Wednesday

Sembalun/ Summit/ Segara Anak

  • Begin the journey at around 2.30 after a light breakfast
  • Trekking to the summit at 3.00 (3726m) for approximate 3 hours
  • Depart from Summit at around 6.30 to reach Sembalun Crater Rim Camp (trekking for approx. one and half hours)
  • Stopping in the middle of the trek for breakfast.
  • Then departing from Sembalun crater rim camp to visit Segara Anak lake (2000m, approx. three hours of trekking)
  • Lunch
  • Visit the hot water spring, visiting caves, sightseeing, relaxing, swimming and fishing
  • Dinner
  • Overnight stay at a camp in Segara Anak lake

Day 19: Thursday

Segara Anak/ Senaru Crater Rim

  • Breakfast
  • Depart from Segara Anak lake to Senaru Crater Rim (2461m, approx. trekking time 3 hours)
  • Lunch
  • Sight seeing
  • Dinner
  • Overnight stay at the Senaru rim camp

Day 20: Friday

Senaru Crater Rim/ Senaru Village/ Sengigi

  • Breakfast
  • Proceed the journey from Senaru Crater Rim to the second rest post named Montong Satas (1500m, estimated time for the journey is approx. two hours)
  • Lunch
  • Continue the fall descent to Senaru Village (601m, estimated time for the journey is approx. two hours)
  • Signing out from Rinjani Trekking Center, Senuaru
  • Transfer to Gili Air
  • Overnight stay at Gili Air hotel

Day 21: Saturday

Gili Air

  • Breakfast
  • Day is free for your leisure activities or relaxation
  • Overnight stay at Gili Air hotel

Day 23: Monday

Gili Air/ Nusa Penida

  • Checkout from the hotel and transfer to Nusa Penida by fast boat
  • Lunch at Badang Bai local restaurant
  • Pick up by our coordinator at Nusa Penida Harbor and transfer to the participant accommodation

  • Overnight stay at standard participant accommodation

Day 24: Tuesday

Nusa Penida

  • Breakfast
  • Transfer to Crystal Bay for snorkeling
  • Lunch
  • Enjoying and relaxing at this unspoilt beach in the island
  • Dinner
  • Overnight stay at standard participant accommodation

Day 25: Wednesday

Nusa Penida/ Kuta

  • Breakfast
  • Pickup and transfer to Legian, Kuta
  • Lunch
  • Shopping at the local market in Kuta Center
  • Overnight stay at standard participant accommodation

Day 26: Thursday

Kuta

  • Breakfast
  • Visit to Badung market
  • Visit to the Museum at Denpasar city to see a splendid collection of Balinese art and artifacts from prehistoric to present time
  • Visit to the Bajra Sandhi Monument at Renon Denpasar
  • Lunch at Bumbu Desa restaurant
  • Overnight stay at standard participant accommodation

Day 27: Friday

Kuta

  • Breakfast
  • Visit to Garuda Wisnu Kencana culture park
  • Lunch
  • Visit to the ancient temple of Uluwatu located on the top of a cliff (100m above the sea level) in the southern tip of the peninsula
  • Proceed to see kecak dance performance in Uluwatu for one hour
  • Transfer to Jimbaran beach to have BBQ set seafood dinner at a beach restaurant
  • Overnight stay at Sport Legian hotel

Day 28: Saturday

Kuta

  • Breakfast
  • Free for your own excursions or relaxation
  • Overnight stay at Sport Legian hotel
Week 5

Kuta
