This project is designed to introduce you to different island of Fiji and to contribute in the development of schools, kindergarten or community hall, parks, and various other essential space used by the local communities.

On this project you will be travelling to various islands and taking part in renovation activities, institution beautification, and basic construction activities.

The projects are located in Levuka (Ovalau Island) and Savusavu (Vanua Levu).

After 2 days of orientation, you will be taken to Levuka or Savusavu by ferry. You will have a cultural introduction to the Head of the village along with with traditional Kava ceremony.

Aims & Objectives

The aim and objective of this project is to take you around various islands such that you get a breathtaking experience and also an opportunity to develop basic amenities for the local communities.

Week 1

Monday to Tuesday

At the beginning of the program on the first 2 days, you will have an introduction to the local surroundings, learn the local culture, and get a traditional welcome by the village head.

Wednesday to Friday

During the first of the day will be involved in the renovation work of a kindergarten, primary school or a community hall. The activities will depend on the project taken up time to time. Have a sumptuous meal for lunch and resume work at the assigned project site. Later in the afternoon, you can head to the beach to cool and relax. Later on you could play games like Rugby and volleyball with the local children and youth before retiring for a dinner.

During the weekends, you can explore the many beautiful sites of the islands.

Week 2 & Onwards

Monday to Friday

If you choose to continue this program longer, you can stay at the project and continue with the assigned activities.

This schedule can be changed and/or amended depending on weather conditions, local conditions and unforeseen circumstances.
