Short though this two-day trip may be in time, it’s mighty large in attractions.

Day 1 - Yulara/Kata Tjuta/Uluru
Start the day by visiting the 36 red rock domes of Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), getting up close to this ancient geological formation. Get to know the domes, dunes and gullies on a walk through the Domes of Kata Tjuta. We make our way to Uluru (Ayres Rock) as the sun sets; enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and watch the colours of the rock change. In the evening, a 1,000 star dinner is awaiting you back at camp. With the red earth beneath your feet and the starry sky overhead, sit down to a candlelit spread of locally sourced food and wine. Spend the night in comfort at your motel at the Ayers Rock Resort.

Notes: Total walking time is around an hour (approximately 3 km).

Day 2 - Uluru sunrise
An early start today is rewarded with an Uluru sunrise. While the morning is fresh, enjoy a walk around the base of Uluru and gain insight into the local Aboriginal culture. It's also a unique opportunity to share experiences, and to connect with and learn about the oldest culture on Earth. Perhaps purchase some Indigenous art and craft at the Uluru Cultural Centre before ending your tour at the Ayers Rock Resort. If your flight departs before 12:30 pm, you may require an early transfer to the airport and you may have limited or no time to explore the Cultural Centre.
