We encourage all participants to make the most of their gap year.

Most applicants complete their work placement with us and then continue their adventures around the planet before returning back to the UK.

We want to encourage you to consider taking a further work placement with us.

As you know we have a growing range of placements available from volunteer teaching through to volunteer medical through to paid hotel work.

Therefore it would be possible to:

Example One:

Complete three months in an orphanage in Southern India followed by three months teaching in Australia. The second placement would mean a deduction of £300 for the cost of this placement. The cost (without flights) could be £2 165 (for India) plus £2 200 (for Australia) making a total of £4 365.

Example Two:

Complete three months teaching in China followed by three months orphanage work in Thailand followed by six months paid work in Australia. The second placement would mean a deduction of £300 for the cost of the placement. The third placement would mean a deduction of £600 for the cost of the third placement. The cost (without flights) would be £1 670 (for China) plus £1 895 (for Thailand) plus £1345 (for Australia) making a total of £4 910.

Example Three:

Complete three months teaching in Honduras followed by three months paid hotel work in New Zealand followed by three months paid work in Australia followed by three months teaching in Kenya. The second placement would mean a deduction of £300 for the cost of the placement. The third placement would mean a deduction of £600 for the cost of the third placement. The final placement would mean a deduction of £900 for the cost of the fourth placement. The cost (without flights) would be £2 045 (for Honduras) plus £1 495 (for New Zealand) plus £1 345 (for Australia) plus £1 275 (for Kenya) making a total of £6 160.

It is possible to 'mix and match' all our placements. Another exciting possibility could be to stick to Europe (Latvia, Romania and Serbia) and travel by train or by road between placements.
