Contacting your son/daughter

If placed in Australia, Latvia or New Zealand there is always a telephone close by.

In developing world countries there is less likelihood of having a telephone close by and email is probably the most reliable method of communication. We advise participants to get a portable email address and to check emails whenever they get access to an internet-linked computer, which may be fairly infrequent.

Post is fairly reliable to all our destinations but will take time.

In a real emergency you should contact the Changing Worlds UK office and we will communicate with the in-country representative as soon as possible, who will contact your son/daughter through our network.
