As well as learning to read and write, speak and listen in Mandarin there are other selectives you can choose within the course.

You will be invited to complete topic work on a subject area of your interest, you can learn about Chinese history and focus on Chinese anthropology.

There are options to do research in Modern Chinese literature, basic Chinese law and concentrate of language for business.

Away from the classroom you will encouraged to mix with your fellow students on the university campus - you can join sports clubs (inlcuding popular Tai Chi), dram, music and art groups.

There is an active social atmosphere on the campus for all to enjoy.
